The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of characters who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as important members in the influential clan could enable the team enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
